Terms & privacy

When you create a Nearry account, you are choosing to use our app and website under our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Please take a moment to read those pages so you know what we offer and how we look after your information. If something feels unclear, you can email us before you continue. You can stop using Nearry at any time. You can also delete your account from the app or by contacting support when you are ready to leave.

Device permissions

Some features need access to parts of your phone so they can work the way you expect. We may ask for camera or microphone when you take a call or go live. We may ask for photos when you share a post or update your profile picture. We may ask for a rough location so we can show your district, never to track you without a clear reason. You decide yes or no in the system dialog, and you can change that later in your phone settings.

Cookies

Essential cookies help the website stay signed in and secure. Other cookies or similar tools are only used when the law asks us to get your permission first. We will not turn those on quietly. You can learn what we use and how to change your choices on our Cookies page. If you clear cookies or block them in your browser, some site features may stop working until you sign in again.

Notifications

We may send push notifications so you do not miss messages, plan updates, or safety alerts that matter to you. You can turn notifications off in your phone settings whenever you like. We will not sell your phone number to other companies for their marketing lists. If we ever send optional tips or product news, we will keep that separate from the alerts you need for your account. You stay in control of what reaches your lock screen.
